Richard K. Bridgford has successfully handled numerous trials, arbitrations, mediations, appeals, and pre-litigation disputes. He represents public and private corporations as plaintiff and defense counsel in breach of contracts, business/commercial fraud, construction defect, construction delay, real estate contracts, real estate fraud, broker/finder, estates (beneficiary/trustee disputes), insurance bad faith and coverage, interference with contract and business relations, unfair competition, trade secrets/intellectual property and general business. He also represents individuals in wrongful death, catastrophic injury and personal injury cases. Mr. Bridgford successfully obtained the largest wrongful death settlement involving the Metrolink train crash of 2002.

Mr. Bridgford’s prior law practice and law firm affiliations include: Bridgford & Gleason (formerly Bridgford, Knottnerus & Gleason) where he is the founding partner, Bridgford & Associates, Newport Beach, where he practiced as the founding partner from 1990 to June 1994; and Hamilton & Samuels, Newport Beach, where he practiced as an associate in the Litigation Department from 1987 through 1990; Paul Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, where he practiced as an associate in the Los Angeles and Orange County Litigation Departments from 1985 through 1987; the White House Legal Counsel, Washington D.C., where he served as an extern in 1984.
